The joinery division of a highly regarded Bedfordshire based contractor are looking for a Project Manager to be site based in Bar Hill running a carpentry scheme worth £1m (high end apartments) in Bar Hill, Cambridge

The company have been founded for over 20 years, have a great reputation, 85% of their work is either repeat business or through industry contacts

You will be site based, running the scheme with 2 Site Supervisors reporting in to you – above you will be the operations manager attending site twice a month (without any direct involvement with day to day running of the site. You will have 15-20 carpenters

You will be producing programs and reports, dealing with suppliers and managing the project in its entireity

This is a 1 years contract and the company are happy to look at either fixed term or perm

Salary up to £40,000 + car allowance + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + pension, discretionary bonus and mileage/ travel allowance

The right person

You will be an experienced Senior Site Manager looking to step up or a Project Manager, ideally with joinery experience or high end new build housing

You will be capable of producing programs and reports and will be IT literate

You will have the ability to take hold of the job and deliver it and will have the confidence to have it under control
